On 28th and 29th January 2019, two days legal awareness program was conducted at AMIK RINGYA HALL, Tezu town of Lohit district, in collaboration with All Mishmi Women Welfare Society Tezu, Lohit district sponsored by National Commission of Women on the following topics: Domestic violence and polygamy, sexual harassment at work place, pocso act, breast and cervical cancer, drug abuse and its impact, compulsory registration of marriage and legal aid maternity benefit act 1961, child and bonded labor, property rights of women and right to women and livelihood.
