The Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women had the honour of visiting the office of Smti. LIKHA NARI TADAR  ji, Mayor of Itanagar Municipal Corporation, to felicitate her on receiving the prestigious Civic Excellence honour.     

The recognition by the Hon’ble Governor is a proud moment not only for Ms. Likha Nari Tadar ji, but for the women of Arunachal Pradesh. Her dedicated efforts towards making Itanagar cleaner, greener, more vibrant and better managed demonstrate how women’s leadership can bring meaningful change to our communities. 

We sincerely appreciate her commitment to civic responsibility and public service. Her journey is an inspiration for women and young people across the state to come forward, take responsibility and contribute towards building a better Arunachal Pradesh. 

We also express our gratitude to Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Pema Khandu Ji for placing his trust in her capabilities and giving her the opportunity to serve as Mayor. Such confidence in women’s leadership encourages our women to believe in themselves and aspire to greater responsibilities.
