A high-level Review Meeting with the Chief Secretary and senior officials of the Government of Arunachal Pradesh was chaired by Smt. Vijaya Rahatkar, Hon’ble Chairperson, National Commission for Women (NCW). 

The meeting focused on strengthening women’s safety, security, and empowerment through effective implementation of key government initiatives and institutional mechanisms. 

Detailed discussions were held on: 

• Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP)
• Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY)
• Compliance with the POSH Act
• Strengthening grievance redressal mechanisms
• Enhancing support services for women 

The review emphasized greater inter-departmental coordination, improved outreach, and efficient delivery of welfare services to ensure women across Arunachal Pradesh can effectively access their rights and support systems.
