The programme brought together esteemed resource persons, including Shri Damge Niri (CJM, Seppa), Smti. Yalem Taga Burang (Chairperson, APSCW), Smti. Kipa Kaya Rughu (Member, APSCW), and Adv. Sunil Tara (EKBA), who delivered insightful sessions on women’s legal rights, marriage laws, domestic violence, drug abuse, and the Arunachal Pradesh Money Lending (Regulation) Act, 2018.
Key discussions emphasized the illegality of polygamy, the importance of marriage registration, protection of vulnerable women, and the urgent need to address rising drug abuse and its societal impact.
The programme witnessed active participation from various CBOs and women’s groups, reflecting strong community engagement and commitment toward awareness and empowerment.
