Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women (APSCW), Hon’ble Chairperson Smti. Yalem Taga Burang, along with Hon’ble Vice-Chairperson Smti. Tsering Dolma, Hon’ble Members, and Member Secretary Smt. Yakar Dawe, visited Oju Welfare Association (OWA)

The team was warmly received by the Chairperson and staff of OWA. They visited and reviewed key centres including the Vocational Training Centre, Special School, Legal Aid Clinic, Shakti Sadan, Children’s Home, SAA, Craft and Weaving Units, and residential facilities. 

Heartfelt interactions with residents and staff, a touching children’s presentation on ‘Good Touch and Bad Touch’, and a beautiful yoga performance made the visit truly memorable. The team also shared sweets, spreading joy among the children. 

The APSCW lauded the selfless service and dedication of OWA in safeguarding and uplifting women and children. Together, we remain committed to strengthening support systems and creating a safe, empowered future for all women and children in Arunachal Pradesh.
