Chairperson Yalem Taga Burang led a team of the Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women (APSCW) on an official visit to District Jail, Jullang, where they reviewed the living conditions and interacted with women inmates. 

The team appreciated the existing vocational training and urged the state government to introduce tailoring and baking to support rehabilitation. 

They also visited the Women Police Station (WPS) and Ane’s Home, a safe space initiative by Capital Police for women and children. 

The Commission reaffirmed its commitment to collaborate with authorities for the welfare, dignity, and empowerment of women and girl children across Arunachal Pradesh.
